We spotted a gap in the market for premium performance socks. We launched Sox Footwear, initially using third-party partners to get our first designs onto feet and establish our brand footprint.

To solve lead-time bottlenecks and ensure uncompromising quality, we transitioned to in-house production. Plugged-in our first specialised knitting machine, laying the foundation for our independent factory.

Established our dedicated manufacturing facility in Pretoria, South Africa. Despite initial technical hurdles, we scaled our floor capacity by acquiring four additional knitting units to meet growing demand.

Relocated to a larger facility to accommodate rapid growth. We became the first in Africa to implement specialised sock-printing technology, supported by an expanded fleet of 11 knitting machines. We officially opened our doors as a private label manufacturer for global brands.

Expanded our internal design studio to offer end-to-end product development. Increased production capacity by adding 6 knitting machines and 4 high-speed printers, ensuring agility during a volatile global year.

Expanded our footprint into Belgium and Sweden. Launched Let’s Get Custom, a tech-driven platform offering bespoke manufacturing with a MOQ of just one pair—redefining industry standards for accessibility.

Continued aggressive infrastructure investment, integrating 3 advanced knitting units and 2 high-volume printers into the production line.

Moved to a state-of-the-art facility designed for maximum throughput. In a strategic partnership with Chinese engineers, we co-developed a proprietary printer that optimised floor space and halved the printing time per unit.

Commissioned our new high-efficiency printers, boosting monthly print capacity to 250,000 pairs. Re-established a dedicated knitting plant with a monthly output capability of 120,000 pairs.

Achieved a milestone in industrial credibility by becoming the primary African manufacturing partner for a major international sportswear brand.

Our facility has reached a new peak of industrial scale. With 112 knitting machines and over 30 printers, our capacity has more than doubled, positioning us to fulfil high-volume global contracts with industry-leading precision.
